End-User License Agreement

1. 	Copyright:
	All copyrights to the programs and sources on this CD are
	the property of QuadTech, Inc..

2. 	Use of Software:
	The software is distributed "as is".  No warranty of any
   	kind is expressed or implied.  The End-User uses this
	software at his own risk.

3.	Liability:
	The author is not liable for data loss, damages, loss of
	profits or any other kind of loss that may be incurred
	while using or misusing this software.

4.	Installation:
	To install the software, open .zip and double-click on the setup icon.

5.	LR2000 Virtual Front Panel Operation

	This program allows configuration, measurements and data from the
	LR2000 to be saved to a file.  A measurement can be initiated from
	the software program.

	Set correct Com Port and Baud Rate, click "Continue"  
	Baud rate setting of LR2000 can be found in System Setup, 
	System Configuration, Baud Rate

6.	Result screen
	
   *    Log button will allow file to be opened. 
	You will be prompted to select or enter a file.
	If a file exists you will be asked if you want new data to
	overwrite or append to existing data in the file. 
 
   *    Configure button will open the configure screen
	In this screen the Source, Dry Circuit option, range, average 
	and delay can be configured.
	Use "Update" to send configuration to the LR2000
 	
	X returns to the Results screen

   *  	Temp Corr ON, calculates the Resistance at 20 C using a given 
	Temperature coefficient and ambient temperature.  The temperature
	coefficient may be entered or one from the drop down listed may be used.
	The following are the coefficients used:
	Copper	 	0.004
    	Aluminum 	0.0039
    	Silver		0.0038
	Gold        	0.0034
	Nichrome	0.0004 

	The formula used to calculate the corrected temperature is:
	Rtc = Rx/(1+(T-20)*coeff)
		
   *    A measurement can be initiated by clicking the Trigger button.
	Measurements will be saved if logging has been initiated.
	Only measurements triggered from this program will be logged.
	
	Once data has been collected click "Stop Log" button to close
	file so it can be accessed by another program such as Excel.
